
Every facility in the Symbion network has the opportunity to draw upon
the resources of more than 70 others through the company’s Physician
Quality Council.
Founded in 2001, the council is comprised of physicians and administrators from each of the company’s nine regions. The group meets up to four times a year to review benchmark data,
evaluate common issues, share information
and best practices, and make policy
recommendations as needed. The
Council also advises Symbion on quality
matters and develops educational programs for facilities.
