Mr. Crysel serves as Group President of Surgery Partner's National Group, previously a part of Symbion Healthcare which was acquired by Surgery Partners in November 2014. Prior to joining Symbion, Mr. Crysel co-founded and served as President of Dover Resource Group, which included a networking consortium of 76 members, an executive placement division, a special projects group, an equipment leasing subsidiary, and Dover Insurance Group. Other healthcare management roles have included Associate Administrator at Indian Path Medical Center in Kingsport, TN, CEO at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, TN, and CEO at Northside Hospital in Johnson City, TN. Mr. Crysel also co-founded PediaNet, a pediatric practice management company in Nashville which was sold to Kelson Physician Partners in 1999. Mr. Crysel has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a major in Healthcare Management from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and a master’s degree in Hospital and Health Administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
